Chlorine Dioxide Disinfection

The chlorine dioxide disinfection is currently the most effective method of disinfecting the pool water. It is a new application of a long known disinfection principle. But only recently, there came a solution for some unwelcome aspects connected with its preparation and dosing.

Its advantage lays mainly in the fact that it does not react with ammonia and urea, therefore not creating chloramines, and that it destroys biofilms. This method of disinfection can be used in both the public and private pools. The great advantage of this method is its amazing effectiveness, despite the fact that it is not a chlorine disinfection. This method of disinfection is supported by the governing control bodies, even though it isn't listed in the law and the operational decrees. It is a new, in local pools still rarely seen, method.

Recently, there were developed fully automatic dosing and metering systems, which evaluate the water's quality and depending on its pollution, they automatically dose the necessary chemicals.
