For most pools, a chlorine derivate disinfection (tablets, water chlorine solutions) or a direct "gas" chlorine dosing from a pressured tank is proposed because of its low operating costs, the ease of maintenance and operation. Further options include generating the gaseous chlorine or the dissolved chlorine using an electrolysis of salt outside the pool and dosing it into the pool water.
This method of disinfection is mostly used in the public pools, where there are maximal requirements for the water quality without a direct control over who is using the pool.
We design fully automated dosing and metering systems both for private and public pools. These systems continuously evaluate the water's quality and depending on its pollution, they automatically dose the necessary chemicals. The requirements for the quality of the pool water are defined in the Ministry of health decree #135/2004. The values set by this decree are obligatory for public pools, but with our automatic units, this is easy. In private pools, where one rarely expects a visit from health inspector, the pollution is usually lower, but as soon as the problem appears, it is important to destroy it right at its beginning, which would be very difficult to do without a continuous monitoring.
For the public pools, we also install small chlorine generators, chlorine treatment units and we supply salt electrolysis devices.
